This and That

Well, my new renamed and designed Etsy site is quite a bit more successful than the old one.  (It was Chatham Lakeside Designs, is now SundogsDesigns).  I have actually sold a few pieces on it.  Hopefully, it will grow!  Lately, I have been branching out, as you can see from the new handpainted flip flop boxes I just put on yesterday.  They are so much fun to paint!  I don't know if they are priced right, so if you have any opinions, let me know!  They had to go into the "Everything Else" category, there just wasn't a category for "handpainted flip-flop boxes", LOL. 

What is everyone up to this summer?  I just got back from a wonderful vacation.  Hope it doesn't make the summer short, I often find that I feel like summer is over once I take a vacation.  I'll have to work on that this year!

Read a great book on vacation, The Help by Kathryn Stockett.  Just couldn't put it down.  Did a lot of other wonderful things, like found out what the color of the ocean is 100's of miles offshore, how it looks with a full moon shining on it at night with no land in sight.  Found what have to be some of the most beautiful places on earth too....Saw some incredible 180 degree rainbows....relaxed, ate too much....went to a "clothing optional" beach, which was really a hoot!

Blessed, I really feel blessed.  The trip of a lifetime, wonderful friends, family.  I am so grateful every day.   The world is a big beautiful place....just remember....
